Golf Courses
​
There are around 20 golf courses within a 30 minute drive from the villa all with great facilities.
Torrevieja
Torrevieja is the closest main town and is a 15 minute drive from the villa. There are some great beaches, restaurants, bars and shops as well as historical buildings and a marina. In the busier months there is also a large fairground.
Alicante
Alicante is a great place to visit and only 35 minutes in the car. Day or night there is something for everyone.
There are plenty of restaurants along the seafront or around the beautiful back streets of Alicante. There is also a children's amusement park on the seafront.
Beaches
The Costa Blanca has got some of the best sandy beaches in Spain with beautiful white sand.
Cabo Roig is a beautiful beach set in a cove so even in the winter months when the temperature is lower it is still great for sunbathing. Only 20 minutes from the villa.
Guardamar beach is the longest sandy beach on the Costa Blanca at 11km long. It has beautiful white fluffy sand. This is only a 10 minute drive from the villa.
Restaurants
There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. You can walk to either Quesada in 15 minutes in one direction or Benijofar in 15 minutes in the opposite direction.
Water Parks
There are several water parks you can visit. Aquapark is only a 5 minute walk away from the villa. This is a small waterpark but handy if you don't want to go too far.
Aquopolis is in Torrevieja and is a 15 minute drive from the villa.
Aqualandia is in Benidorm and is next to Mundomar. There is plenty for everyone here. There are 2 separate large areas for smaller children and plenty of big thrilling rides. Mundomar is where you can see dolphin, sea lion and penguin shows.
Go-Karts and Quad Bikes
This Go-Kart track is just 25 minutes away from the villa. There are also plenty of other activities to do including quad bikes, paintballing and a children's amusement park.
Shopping
La Zenia Boulevard is the largest shopping centre on the Costa Blanca. As well as having a great selection of popular shops, there are also some great restaurants and plenty to amuse the children. This includes a large children's play area with soft play and rides.
La Mata Salt Lakes

There are two salt lakes which are natural parks.
The pink lake is the working lake which they extract the salt from.

The main attraction for bird lovers are the flamingos where up to 2,000 can be seen during the breeding season. Many of them will turn a gorgeous shade of pink from eating the shrimps in the water. There are about 100 types of wading, aquatic and marine birds plus other animals in this protected natural park.
